Q) Can a generator or carrier void a manifest after both have signed it? Does the Ministry have to approve a manifest void?

A) There is a provision in HWIN for a manifest void. A void can take place after the generator and carrier have signed the manifest, but before the waste shipment has reached the receiver. A manifest void is a relatively rare manifest event, and requires both a generator and carrier signature as well as the Ministry's signoff.
