Q) Can a carrier prepare a manifest on behalf of a generator?

A) Yes. HWIN allows a carrier to prepare a manifest on behalf of a generator. However, the generator must authorize the carrier to do so. From the My HWIN page, the generator can authorize a carrier by clicking on HWIN Administration on the menu bar, selecting Carrier/Preparer from the pull-down menu, and then following instructions.
