Q) Canada Post service disruption. How do I send cheques and manifests to the ministry during a Canada Post strike?
|
A) Due to processing and legislative requirements, the original copy of the manifest is required. During a Canada Post labour disruption, clients may choose to consolidate their manifest copies, other documents and payments and courier these to the address listed on the back of the manifest. As per Regulation 347 under the Environmental Protection Act, Copy 1 (white copy) and Copy 3 (yellow copy) of the waste manifest must be returned to the Director within three working days of the shipment date by the Generator and Receiver respectively.
